The art pieces in Catalino’s series “Homage to Cave Paintings” are compositions which reflect, in a modern approach, the colour palette, texture and expression of Lascaux and other cave painting: we do not always know what they were — their intent or their author — but their beauty and intensity is always visceral and speaks to something deep within our shared humanity, our shared story.
